Bone Mineral Density

Bone Mineral Density

Bone Mineral Density scanning, commonly known as BMD or DEXA, uses dual-energy X-Ray absorptiometry to assess the density of your bones. BMD scans provide valuable information to both referrers and patients regarding bone strength, fragility, fracture risk, and can assist in diagnosing osteoporosis.
