Echocardiogram

Echocardiogram: An echocardiogram, also known as a cardiac ultrasound, is used to create images of the heart through high-frequency sound waves. This procedure helps assess the structure and functionality of the heart and its surrounding blood vessels. Sound waves emitted from the transducer bounce off heart structures and are reflected back to produce visual images, allowing healthcare providers to observe the heart’s movement in real-time.
